Ralph is a 48 year old Communications Engineer & 14 year veteran, residing in southern New Jersey. He is the author (R.E. Long) of several books including his latest “Tomorrow’s Fish”.  A lifelong sportsman, he has also been published in numerous outdoor periodicals including Bowhunter magazine, Turkey Country magazine, Flyfisherman magazine & most recently the 2011 Spring Edition of FlyTyer magazine.  He has also been a frequent contributor to FAOL (NJTroutbum).  Born-&-raised in central Pennsylvania, he began fly fishing at a young age, and has been actively fly tying for 20+ years. With a love for trout and their habitat first-&-foremost, he can also be found on pretty much any pocket of water big enough for his float-tube in pursuit of bluegills.
